October marks AAC Awareness Month, a time dedicated to shining a light on the power of Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC). For millions of individuals around the globe, AAC is more than just technology—it’s a lifeline that empowers them to communicate, connect, and engage with the world. AAC encompasses all forms of communication that either support or replace speech for people with communication difficulties.
