Grid Pad 16 is the latest addition to the Grid Pad family, bringing you all the powerful communication features of Grid Pad, now with a bigger, brighter, and more detailed display.

Perfect for users who need more space to communicate, it includes eye gaze accessible Smart Buttons, a wide-angle 6.5″ second screen, built-in environment control, and custom-designed audio.

A larger screen offers significant benefits for many users, providing more space to work, create, and enjoy content.

With a bigger display, you can easily view multiple programs side by side, making multitasking more efficient, whether you’re working on documents, presenting at meetings, or editing videos. It also enhances entertainment, offering a more immersive experience for watching films or TV shows.

For individuals with visual impairments, such as Cortical Visual Impairment (CVI), a larger screen can make a real difference, displaying text and objects with greater clarity and a wider field of view, improving accessibility and ease of use.

Who is Grid Pad 16 for?
Grid Pad 16 is designed for people who need a powerful and versatile communication aid that works with every type of alternative access. This includes individuals with conditions that affect speech and mobility, such as motor neurone disease (MND / ALS), cerebral palsy and brain injury.

Does Grid Pad 16 work with eye gaze?
Yes! Grid Pad 16 is available with Lumin-i and Vida eye tracking technology. Each camera is housed in an impact resistant and IP rated eye gaze module that transforms your Grid Pad into a dedicated eye gaze device. Wireless docking makes getting setup even easier, with no need for any cables – perfect for assessment settings.  

Does Grid Pad 16 have Environment Control?
Yes, Grid Pad 16 has built in GEWA Infrared Environment Control and EasyWave / Z-Wave radio Environment Control.  

What does WQXGA HDR display mean?
WQXGA  stands for Wide Quad Extended Graphics Array and refers to the 2560 × 1600 pixels resolution of the screen. A WQXGA HDR display delivers high resolution and improved color/contrast performance, making it ideal for tasks like media consumption, gaming, and professional creative work.
