Earn ASHA CEUs on Smartbox Academy
US-based Speech Language Pathologists can now earn ASHA CEUs for courses offered on Smartbox Academy! Introduction to AAC is our first course to offer ASHA CEUs, and more courses will be added in the future. First, find a course on Smartbox Academy with the ASHA CE Approved Provider logo, shown below. If the course does not have the ASHA CE Provider logo and corresponding details for ASHA CEUs, it does not offer them. You must complete all requirements of a course to earn ASHA CEUs. Make sure that the details in your Smartbox Academy profile are up to date and include your 8-digit ASHA number. If you are not yet signed up to Smartbox Academy, you can enter these details at the time of sign up. We update the ASHA registry monthly so please allow 60 days for CEUs to show in your ASHA CE registry. Navigate to the course catalog and search courses for “ASHA CEU”. Yes, the courses on Smartbox Academy are still relevant to anyone interested in learning more about AAC. Both are offered on Smartbox Academy, each course is individually labeled. Most courses on Smartbox Academy are free, some paid workshops are offered for a small fee and are labeled with the price. Unfortunately, you cannot earn ASHA CEUs for a course you have taken on Smartbox Academy in the past.
