Introducing Smartbox France

We are delighted to announce the official launch of Smartbox in France. From October 2024, we will be supporting AAC users and professionals with access to Grid and our range of AAC devices, provided by a new dedicated team.

Alongside provision of our software and devices, we will be extending our assessment, training and support services to the French AAC and Special Education communities. Growing our team of assistive technology specialists in France takes us another step forward in our mission to ensure no one is left without a voice.

We are thrilled to bring Smartbox to France, with a team who are committed to inclusivity and innovation. Our goal is to provide users with the products and support needed to communicate effectively, fostering greater independence and improving quality of life.

The launch of Smartbox France will ensure that local customers have access to tailored support and resources. Leading the new team will be Rémi Pernot and Raphaël Terrier, who have worked as trusted partners with us for many years, with extensive experience in assistive technology and delivering AAC training.

When will Smartbox be operating in France?

We aim to start operating in France from October, with a small but dedicated team of experienced AAC specialists to contact about Smartbox products and services. Our office will be based in Verdun, with a team on-hand to support the delivery and implementation of products for customers.

How will I be able to get in touch with the team?

What products will be available to try?

Grid 3, Grid for iPad and the Look family software packages are all available from Smartbox France or available for download on our website. We are excited to be able to support users trying Grid Pad and Talk Pad product ranges. We will also be able to supply a number of accessories. How do I try Grid?

What training or resources will be available in France?

The Smartbox France team will be delivering training and learning opportunities online and in person. We will also be working on translating our Smartbox Academy and support resources to benefit our customers in France.
